Since 2021, Dr. Anderson has served as Director of the Syracuse University Industrial Assessment Center (SU-ITAC), overseeing projects that provide sustainability and energy-efficiency assessments for regional industries while offering hands-on experiential learning opportunities for students. In recognition of her commitment to innovative, experience-based engineering education, Anderson received the Technology Alliance of Central New York (TACNY) Teaching Award for Experiential Learning in 2024.
